National Express Coach passengers in Coventry get free Lotto tickets
National Express coach passengers in Coventry woke up to a nice surprise today on their daily commute into work as a gang of glamorous ladies turned out to hand travellers free lottery tickets as part of the launch of the new Lotto Plus 5 ticket.
The National Lottery is currently conducting a nationwide tour ahead of the launch of the Lotto Plus 5 ticket this weekend. To raise awareness of the new lottery scheme, 250 tickets were handed out to coach passengers travelling on the number 5 service in Coventry this morning.
The new Lotto Plus 5 ticket offers players 5 chances to win. For an extra pound, the numbers chosen for the main lottery draw are entered into a prize draw to win a fixed amount of £250,000 for the next 5 days.
The National Lottery spokesperson says they hope the new ticket will create an extra 500,000 lotto winners a week. The lottery is already responsible for creating 4 million winners every week across all of its games, and it’s hoped the new Lotto Plus 5 will add to this.
Coventry commuters on the Number 5 National Express bus service had the opportunity to try out the new Lotto Plus 5 ticket for free as 250 were handed out this morning to travellers with valid bus tickets.
